This is basically like when bullies try to make you look or feel stupid in front of others in a covert way by putting words in your mouth or purposefully misinterpreting what you said, and when you try to explain what you meant, before you're able to explain yourself, they double down and talk over you so, then they make you seem crazy or overly sensitive for explaining yourself and not "moving on". Patti handled this so well. I wish I could stick up for myself the way she did here.
